Hi, I’m Liana.
I’m Liana Guerra Pereira, an English teacher, philologist and translation specialist. My interest in languages has always been connected to a broader question: how people use language to understand the world and communicate what they think.
My approach
Learning a language also means learning how to use it.
My experience in teaching, translation and literature has shaped an approach in which English is not only about studying structures, but about using them to communicate.
Literature, reading and good conversations are part of how I understand language learning — and part of the reason The Good Conversation Club exists.
